Dr. David Stanley
“I love helping kids have a fun experience at a young age so that they have a lifelong positive outlook on dentistry. There is no better feeling than seeing a child smile, and I enjoy being a small part of that process. I strive to treat every child as if they were my own.”
Dr. David Stanley is from Tullahoma and graduated from Tullahoma High School. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
Dr. Stanley practiced dentistry for ten years as a member of the United States Army Dental Corps, with which he was stationed in Kentucky, Korea, and Germany. During this time, he completed an advanced education general dentistry residency at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and received a certificate in pediatric dentistry and a Master of Science in oral biology from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
Dr. Stanley is board-certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition, he serves as an Examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Association of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Dental Association, and 4th District Dental Society.
Dr. Stanley and his wife, Dr. Lisa Stanley, have three children – Sophie, Ava, and Beck – in addition to two golden doodles named Flapjack and Waffles. Dr. Stanley has a passion for flying airplanes, an activity he would do every day if he could. When he’s on the ground, Dr. Stanley enjoys fly fishing.
