Dr. Taylor Sims is a pediatric dentist from Monroeville, Alabama. Inspired by his mother’s experience – “My mother once felt afraid to smile, and I strive to ensure no child feels that way.” – he is committed to helping young patients build confidence, comfort, and trust at every visit.

Dr. Sims completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama – Roll Tide – and earned both his Master of Health Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College. He furthered his training at Howard University, where he served as Chief Resident and received his Pediatric Dentistry Certificate. He is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. 

Outside the office, Dr. Sims enjoys spending time with his dog, Benji, reading, hiking new trails, traveling, mentoring, and spending time with family and friends. His first love has always been dance, a passion that allows him to express energy and emotion without words—and one that led him to appear on NBC’S Dancing with Myself, featuring judges Shakira and Nick Jonas.

Dr. Sims is dedicated to creating a welcoming, enjoyable dental experience that helps children feel confident in their smiles and supported in every step of their dental journey.
